One of my favorite times of day is that moment in the evening when I’m in front of my bathroom sink finally taking off my makeup and treating my skin to my daily pamper routine. As much as I love actually putting on makeup and creating new looks, nothing compares to having your skin feel clean and refreshed; kind of like taking your bra off at the end of a long day… ultimate comfort and bliss. There’s no set routine that I follow at the moment just because I’m always trying to find products that actually work for my uneven, oily, acne-prone skin (killer combo I know). However, I would love to eventually curate a collection of items that I could call my go-to routine.

Recently, I picked up this set of four Mario Badescu products while browsing around the always wonderful Anthropologie. I wasn’t planning on picking these up, but I have heard good things about this line so I thought I might as well try them out for myself and honestly for the price, you’re getting some great products and sizes. I’m not an expert when it comes to skin concerns and how to treat them, but I thought you guys might appreciate my thoughts on the goodies inside! ☺️

My favorite of the four is hands down the Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater. I spray it on as often as I possibly can because my skin just drinks it up. This is one of those products that doubles wonderfully as both a toner and light moisturizer, great for mornings because somehow I’m always in a rush. The drying lotion is really fun to use and cleared up spots in only a couple of days which warrants a gold star in my book. The cleanser and moisturizer in the set are pretty standard and they do their jobs well; great additions to add into my rotation.

If nothing else, the aesthetics of this line and its packaging are spot one! Simple and clean, just how I like it. If these products seem up your street or if you’re looking to mix up your everyday routine, definitely see about giving them a try. Now I’m on the hunt for some good overnight serums, so if you have any favorites please let me know in the comments below!
